SahlaVisionArt is a London based curatorial organisation and emerging CIC led by curator and director Sahla Trew. SVA develops and delivers contemporary art exhibitions and cultural programmes that engage with hard hitting and thought provoking themes.
Building on a legacy of socially conscious exhibitions such as Journal Black (2020) and Art Journal (2022) and most recently World at War(2025), SVA continues its commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices and connecting communities through art.
From 2026, SVA will deliver a structured programme of four exhibitions, with every show treated as a special occasion. Our work includes a dedicated Schools & Education Exhibition, giving secondary school, college and university students a professional platform to exhibit their work, alongside three themed exhibitions that invite artists to respond to powerful contemporary issues. Around these exhibitions, we programme workshops, talks and community events that deepen conversation and open up access to art.
To create a global platform for under represented voices/artists who explore marginalised narratives, invisible conflicts, or transformative journeys through adversity.
To engage a broad community of individuals by offering accessible programming from interactive workshops and open talks.
Rooted in South East London but open to global perspectives, SahlaVisionArt is building a space where artists, people of all ages and local communities can meet, reflect and imagine new futures through art.
